                   ARTICLE 52: President Of India A rticle 52 of the Indian Constitution states that there shall be a President of India and as per Article 53, all the executive powers of the Union shall be executed by him or her either directly or through officers subordinates to him.  On 26 November 1949 , the Constitution of India was adopted and came into force on 26 January 1950.
